My wife and I are into cooking – not gourmand but novel, euro, different. So we look for foodie blogs. The latest I found is bare ingredients – the site for food lovers.
It’s written by a Scot, with an Australian bent (Kangaroo Surf and Turf Kebabs is a hint). The blog is well designed, with a careful selection of sidebar links. What I appreciate is the world view in how they handle seasonal recipes. They list them by Northern and Southern Hemisphere. A reminder that while we freeze, the other half of the world bakes.
I’ll let you know how the Moules et Frites (that’s mussels and chips for the non-Belgians amongst us) satisfy on Monday.
