An advanced technique: excerpt

WordPress allows you to add an excerpt to your post, an excerpt that is posted to your RSS feed.  This means that you can write a teaser for your post that is published to the RSS.  If the teaser works, readers will follow it to the main post.

Typically the excerpt is your first paragraph, but you can use the excerpt to do more than simply repeat information.

To get to the excerpt, scroll below the Upload section in the editing window.
